Our teaching staff is dedicated to making Peace United Methodist Preschool a positive learning experience for preschoolers. Children are able to make choices and participate in both whole group and small group activities.
We have a well-planned curriculum that provides a new teaching topic for each week. The activities are organized around the topics, using learning centers that include: literacy, math, art, dramatic play, science/nature, fine motor skills, handwriting, finger-plays, puzzles and learning games.
The daily schedule also includes playground time, free choice centers and snack is provided.
The weekly schedule includes a movement & music class with chapel time featuring the "Read And Share Bible".
We proudly feature the Learning Without Tears/Get Set For School curriculum to teach handwriting , language/literacy and numbers/math readiness.
